How do you ensure the integrity of your games?
Here at Global Poker, we strive to provide an exciting and fun experience by ensuring safe and fair gameplay.
To make it possible for you, the RNG used by Global Poker utilizes a Mersenne Twister with background cycling. This was certified by iTechLabs on 15 February 2017 who confirmed that it uses a well-known algorithm to generate random numbers. The numbers generated by this RNG have passed Marsaglia's diehard tests for statistical randomness. iTech Labs has found that number sequences are unpredictable, non-repeatable and uniformly distributed.
How does RNG work?
Random Number Generators use mathematical algorithms to generate random numbers, that imitate the actions that take place in a live casino and then display the outcome virtually on the computer screen using graphics. Any time the software needs to produce a random outcome, it communicates with the RNG. Whatever number has been generated by the RNG at that precise moment is then fed into the software. Each possible number or combination is related to a possible outcome and the software displays the relevant outcome accordingly.
In a Poker game, RNG shuffles the deck of cards randomly, using the random number that RNG creates, hence each dealt hand is completely random.
